When the golf course at Indian Lakes had to close in July 2016, we established three goals for its eventual reuse: retain property values, preserve the character of the neighborhood and generate substantial economic benefits for the community and area schools.
We are excited that the community discussion on our plan to repurpose, reinvest in and reconnect Indian Lakes back to the surrounding neighborhoods is finally beginning.
The Bloomingdale Planning and Zoning Commission will host the first of several meetings on:
Tuesday, April 16, 2019
Lake Park High School East Campus Auditorium
600 Medinah Road Roselle, IL 60172 – Map
We look forward to hearing from Village residents, officials and staff and will incorporate the feedback we receive through this process to make adjustments and refinements to our plan.
We are not requesting any action on April 16, but instead are beginning the public process.
Together, we can decide on the right future for a renewed Indian Lakes. It is important that we improve our community, create new public open space and walking trails, generate millions in new financial resources for area classrooms and public needs, and provide homes that meet the needs of our region’s aging population.
