The Four Seasons at Indian Lakes project team has submitted a revised plan to the Village of Bloomingdale in November 2018. This begins the formal consideration process at by Village staff, the Planning and Zoning Commission and elected officials.
In total, the application includes numerous technical reports that are required for a project of this complexity.
We recognize that the transformation to a resort-at-home community is a change, but believe 190 acres of vacant land is in no one’s best interest. By being open and transparent with our project documents, we want to continue the community conversation about the best path forward for the Indian Lakes property and the Village of Bloomingdale.
We are excited that a community discussion will be held on our plan to repurpose, reinvest and reconnect Indian Lakes to the broader community. Given the intense community interest, at the request of the Village, the first of several public meetings will be held on:
Tuesday, April 16, 2019
Lake Park High School East Campus Auditorium
600 Medinah Road
Roselle, IL 60172
Given the complexity of the plan, it is likely that refinements and adjustments will need to be made based on the input of the Village residents, officials and staff. We welcome your feedback and the opportunity to improve the plan to move the entire community forward.
We are not requesting any vote or recommendation be made at the initial April 16 hearing. We anticipate needing to make a variety of changes to the plan before any final decision could be made. Consideration of the Four Seasons at Indian Lakes will not be rushed.
